Hey y’all and welcome back to the blog!
Today I am going to be talking about a little bit of a different topic than objects you can find in the park but rather the people you can find in the parks!
You heard it here folks, we are going to be talking about the Disney Employment Programs!
Let's get started!
These programs are designed to give college students a chance to work in a Disney Park through their college experience! There are three different areas : College programs. Culinary Program, and International programs. Each program offers a housing placement that includes a pool, community based rooms and educational facilities.
College Program
The college program is referred to as “The Disney College Program” and throughout the post will be referred to as DCP.
The DCP is the most popular program known when you talk about the programs. This program was designed to give college students a chance to work in a different type of environment that will help build up skills of networking, teamwork, communication and problem solving.
The major requirements to apply for this program are that you have to be at least 18 years or older and currently enrolled in College or University. If you have just graduated from College/University, you have a window of 24 months after your graduation date to apply for the program.
Culinary Program
As we all know from a previous blog post, Disney has some of the tastiest foods. The Culinary Program is designed to educate the individuals wanting to create magic through food at the Disney Parks. There are endless opportunities to be placed in such as the Confectionary, different restaurants, countries in EPCOT and even some of the annual festivals that happen.
Some of the requirements for this are that the individual needs to be currently enrolled in Culinary, Baking, or Pastry School and be 18 years of age or older. Again, if you have graduation from your school of requirement, you do have the 24 month window to be eligible for the program.
International Programs
Within this program, there are three different programs to apply to: Academic Exchange Program, Cultural Exchange Program, and Cultural Representative Program.
Academic Exchange Program
This program was created to allow College/University students the chance to work with professionals from the industry. While participating in this program, you will still be taking academic courses along with learning about different cultures and making connections with people around the world!
The requirements for this program are that the individual must be fluent in English, be able to exit and reenter the United States, be currently enrolled in College/University and 18 years old or older.
Cultural Exchange Program
In this program, you will be working in the customer service industry with different cultures from around the world.

Cultural Representative Program
Lastly, I will be talking about the Cultural Representative Program. In this program you will be socializing and building relationships with people from all different cultural backgrounds. The individuals who participate in this program are given the chance to represent where they are from while being able to learn about leadership skills.
Again, here are the eligibility requirements from the Disney Programs website!
