Hi everyone! Welcome back to the blog. I'm sorry that I was away for a week but I am back now. For those of you who don't know, for the time not spent on the blog, I am very active on my social media!
Now let's get on with this week’s post!
I hope you all have a snack ready before reading this week's post because I am talking about the best treats that you can get at the parks for a reasonable price and convenience! As always you can find more information when clicking on the subheadings for each snack!
Just a little disclaimer about the food listed below! I have only visited the parks in Walt Disney World so the food I am talking about are ones I have tried and will be giving my honest recommendations on.
Starting off with the Mickey shaped pretzel. These you can find in the small little snack carts all throughout the parks. It is the perfect snack to have when you are waiting in between meals and need something to keep your energy up for around $7.00! You have the choice of getting a side of cheese dip, or mustard with it. For me, I prefer mine just with salt and no dip!
Wanting a quick sweet treat to help you cool off from hopping from land to land in Magic Kingdom/ Disneyland. Well my friend, Dole Whip is the solution! This creamy, cold and delicious treat will make you feel like you’re in a tropical paradise for around the price of $6.99! You can find Dole Whip at the Aloha Isle Refreshments stand in Adventure Land.
We are taking a small trip across the pond to Epcot! Here you will find numerous treats from around the world but the country we are focusing on today is England. Here in England you will find the most scrumptious Fish and Chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop. This is the perfect dinner for people who are on the go wanting to ride all the rides and meet the characters throughout the park. It is also a great meal for the people who just want to sit and enjoy the people and the scenery around them. This meal comes with two fried fish tenders and a handful of chips (fries) for around $12.99. This is my parent’s favorite thing to get when we go to Epcot. I think we get at least two in one trip.
The cinnamon roll from Gaston's Tavern is the prime example of a bang for your buck! This is listed at around $5.99 in Fantasy Land. This was a hidden gem for me and my family but now it is a must have when we go. When I tell you this is the biggest cinnamon roll I have laid my eyes on. It is the best treat to split with others. I would say around 4 people could do some work on that thing but my Mom and I just kept it for ourselves while the rest of our family was on a ride!
Last but not least on the list is the infamous turkey leg. This was my Opa’s favorite thing to get at the Disney Parks when we would go together. Now, my Dad and I get one at least one when we go to keep the tradition alive! You can find these in different places throughout the parks for around $12.49. You will want to have some water on hand with this treat because it is SALTY!! This is another great meal/snack for the families or individuals on the go!
I hope this week's post left you wanting some of these tasty treats! Come back next week to learn about where to stay when visiting the parks! Have a magical day!
